Ssc-El Compadre Tv1 is a new venture that's heading El Compadre into the future. By commanding it's new, online television network, they portend what some of their future plans may be. Notice the term "network" and not station was used. Its very important to emphasize the difference. They are such a strong brand that in their position, "their future" lends it self to nearly endless possibilities. Shaping of the new network is under the tender care of producer/writer, Kenny Beck, who takes great care and pride in the programming he is creating for them.
His idea is to lustfully embrace new technologies fusing them with current ones, while staying true to the venues founder's vision of authentic ism and tradition, a neat trick if he can pull it off. As most local businesses haven't embraced not one iota of engaging in e commerce, this put's El Compadre light years ahead of the rest in their quest to remain the best! Harken back two or three decades ago and you'll instantly discover, the trendy gateway to the famous Sunset Strip, is a path smitten by one of the most beloved and endured restaurant legends of our time, El Compadre. "The Godfather", to those unknowing plebs, is one of those sort of places where movie, music and mayhem makers, gather to regroup from a tough day at the office. Not to suggest for a moment that "Compadre" is a retiring, willowy, sophisticates refuge or anything like that. Oh no, quite to the contrary. This joint is jumping! Poppin', on all cylinders. On any given night, there's no tellin' who you might spy there. Personally, I've had the pleasure to graze elbows with some of Hollywood's elite. Young and established,(stop), directors, film and television (stop), music bad boys & girls, as well as a plethora of assorted characters at the top of their game. A wide variety of pursuits. if you ask me. From fashion to video games creators of awe and famous jockeys to superstar baseball and basket-ballers, the most luminous of show biz luninaries keep this place on full tilt. This is for as long as I do remember.
Family owned and carefully operated, El Compadre puts on no airs of pretention. It is what it is and they do what they do well. One thing they do for sure is keep their delectable dishes, delicious and those bangin' margarita's, um', full and seriously banging. Hollywood folk come to let their hair down and kick it with a few friends, so who am I to spoil the mystic. No, I'm not gonna' tell you who hangs there or what they like to eat or drink, that's priviliged information. So if you want to find out the answer to these and other scintillating questions, you're just going to have to drag but down there and check it out (you'll be glad you did)!
